Why Join Us? We are a very friendly bunch, we hold fun SJ competitions and we have friendly Dressage competitions and we go on XC competitions. We encourage Team competitions and we set up group Training lessons and we organise Lectures & Demos and we have great Social events.

Hampshire Rural Riding Club is a friendly club with many activities taking place during the year. There are events for all disciplines – for both the novice rider and the more experienced rider. As a member, you will receive the club’s bi-monthly newsletter which will keep you up to date with who’s who and who’s doing what! Also, you will be able to enjoy the ‘Members Only’ events where you can get to know other, like-minded, horse-loving, HRRC members.

HRRC is affiliated to the British Riding Club and is incorporated within Area 17, which covers Hampshire, Dorset and Isle of Wight. As a member of the HRRC, you will also be registered member of the BRC which makes you eligible to compete in their events. Also, BRC issues a quarterly magazine ‘Rider’ to all their members. HRRC is open to riders and non-riders.

The British Riding Club holds a number of Area Competitions and National Championships throughout the year. For the more adventurous members, who would like to compete at Area and National level, HRRC has a nominated Team Manager for each discipline who will support their team, organise training, complete the entry forms and Aim For Success.
